so. who am i? well i already told you that i'm saltiestblueberry lmfao. but seriously, if you wanna know more about me personally, check this carrd out. okay now that casualties are out of the way, i can finally start talking about my fanfiction.

Dear Starboy is the unifying name of a series of fanworks i'm making. they are heavily multifandom, but they can be understood if you haven't consumed any of the source materials. it will be uploaded on Wattpad and AO3.

alright, let's address the elephant in the room.

i am not the original author of the TomTord neighborhood AU shipfic Dear Starboy, nor am i affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form.

i am perfectly aware of the legacy left by the original beholder of this pseudonym, however that beholder is no longer part of the Eddsworld community. i am not in contact with the original holder of the username, nor do i know where they are now. either way, i do not condone searching for this user's whereabouts.

"alright, makes sense, but why in the world did you claim that username?"

good question!

at first, i claimed it to make sure that false information would not be pushed onto the face of Wattpad under saltiestblueberry's name, whether that be in the form of beliefs that stain their legacy, or fake news about the return of saltiestblueberry. hell, people have claimed to be saltiestblueberry in the past, it'd be thousands of times easier if they had the username to go with it! i wasn't going to let that happen though, so i took it upon myself to seize the domain out of the hands of potential trolls.

my possession of this account mostly stood as a beacon of personal nostalgia for a while. for two years, i didn't do anything with it other than post a single book clarifying that i was not the original saltiestblueberry, and that they left the fandom. all was well.

then, in april of 2021, i created a new book and posted it on that account, and i called it Dear Starboy. i named it after the most memorable Eddsworld fanfictions of all time, one of the very few that i can remember at all, and i posted it on the account named after the author. it was a symbol of spite, aimed toward someone who i now regard as one of the single worst people i have ever encountered in my entire life.

people ended up enjoying the book. i knew it would be outlandish to take that away from them in the same way that i found it outlandish that Dear Starboy was taken away from me, and everyone else who enjoyed reading it.

so the book still sits there today, amongst others, and it is the centerpiece of this new display. as this domain is no longer a symbol of the aftermath of what was, in many people's eyes, a tragedy. instead it stands as a symbol of passing the torch. it stands as a testament, to honor the memory of enjoying the consumption of fanmade content, as i did with the first saltiestblueberry's Dear Starboy. as i hope you do with my fanworks.
